I found this book well organized and very readable. For someone who knows little or nothing about Islam and fundamentalism, I recommend this book. There is historical background as well as reference to current events. Everything fits together. It is worth the cost of the book.

This book has great historical information and facts. If I had to do a report on Italy, this is a book that I would want to use for the report. This is a good book for students and teachers alike.

I read several children's books that contained Jacob Lawrence's art work then we proceeded to paint our own pictures using the materials Jacob Lawrence often used. The children, Kindergarten to 6th grade took the assignment seriously and created beautiful works. I highly recommend this art kit and have purchased the Frieda Kahlo art kit as well.

I consider this book to be the bible of the work of Jacob Lawrenece. As a collector of Lawrence's work, I must say this book was the first step. I truly believe that this is the one book that captures Jacob Lawrence.

The book has the table of each maker's signs shown in pictures. Also it gives broader ideas about Cloisonne History as well as many figures help one learn the styles of different artists. It is so academically written that I was totally comfortable with using it as a refference for my thesis at university.

This pure deductive manual of a manipulative discovery is astonishing. I have changed my 45 year medical-surgical attitude since I became aware of Jones' discoveries. This is a truly lovely book: beautifully produced in paper-back with quality materials (so a joy to handle), interesting and insightful commentaries written in styles that aren't bound up by artistic jargon, and a wonderful, comprehensive collection of images in colour, put in meaningful order. I highly recommend it.
